Meet the trainer
Hi, I'm Shay! I'm a mom, powerlifter, and personal trainer—but more than that, I'm someone who knows what it's like to be held back by pain, self-doubt, and fear. When I started, chronic back pain had transformed me into an emotionally diminished version of myself.
My journey into fitness wasn’t about aesthetics or chasing numbers. It was about reclaiming my body and my self. This transformation has given me immeasurable confidence and mental fortitude, and I've since accomplished more in life than I ever dreamed possible. I'm a certified personal trainer with a clinical background in chiropractic. With 12+ years of experience, I'm also certified in biomechanics, injury rehab, and more. I specialize in powerlifting and injury rehab, and I've created an effective training model to help people just like you reach their goals safely in a supportive environment.
When I’m not at the gym, I’m usually relaxing behind a piece of Russian literature, sipping coffee or Scotch, neat. I love 80’s goth and synth-pop, and I often walk all day eating things and petting cats.
